Åstorp Municipality is looking for assistant nurses for a completely new somatic ward at Backsippan

We are now opening another ward at Backsippan! Following a successful start with Ward 3, we are expanding our operations and looking for dedicated assistant nurses for our new somatic ward, which has space for seven care recipients. The core of everything we do is to offer support and care with deep personal engagement. Description of the role

As an assistant nurse within dementia care, you are significant for both residents and colleagues. Your work involves:

• Providing person-centered care with high quality to residents with dementia.
• Contributing to strong teamwork by being a secure, supportive, and engaged colleague.
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and meaningful daily life where the needs of the residents are in focus.

Qualifications

• Educated assistant nurse with proof of and protected professional title.
• Has and is willing to perform and maintain delegation of medication.
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Has basic computer skills.
• Has a Category B driver's license.

Meritorious experience

• Has basic documentation experience in LifeCare, Senior Alert, Tes, Alfa e-signit, BPSD register, and Stjärnmärkt.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in dementia care as an assistant nurse.

Duration: Permanent, start: According to agreement, with a planned start around October 15, 2026.
Working hours: Schedule. Scheduled working hours with shifts during days, evenings, nights, and weekends according to the operation's needs.
