We are looking for a certified teacher in Science/Math for grades 7–9, with a planned start in August 2026.

International English School (IES) in Växjö opened in 2022 and currently has approximately 300 students in grades F–9.

About the Role

As a teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting student learning. In addition to planning, conducting, and evaluating lessons, you will also serve as a mentor and help students with their personal and social development. You will work in close collaboration with parents/guardians, colleagues, and the student welfare team to provide each student with the best possible conditions to achieve their goals.

Your Qualifications

• Preferably, you are a qualified teacher with eligibility in science and mathematics for grades 7–9.
• You are confident in your professional leadership and create a safe and stable environment both inside and outside the classroom.
• You value and apply a personal, clear, and balanced leadership style, focusing on both discipline and student engagement.
• You are an enthusiastic and engaged teacher with a strong desire to contribute to the success of both students and colleagues.
• You have experience working in a school environment, where you adapt your teaching and collaborate with staff responsible for student well-being as well as special education teachers.
• You are comfortable teaching and communicating in both Swedish and English.
