The Security and Preparedness Department is responsible for strategic and operational work in the field. The operations are organized into two parts, one focusing on security issues and the other on preparedness issues related to security. The regional lawyers currently belong to the security function.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The regional lawyers provide qualified legal advice and support to the managers of Region Kronoberg in various administrations and operations, as well as to elected officials. This includes, among other things, reviewing contracts, handling public access to information and secrecy assessments, legal investigations, and other statements where legal expertise is needed. In relevant cases, the regional lawyers act as the region's legal representatives in cases before courts and authorities.

You will work broadly within several legal areas, including public access and secrecy, data protection, municipal law, medical law, contract law, general administrative law, and procurement law.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an experienced lawyer.

You have a law degree (Juristexamen or Jur. kand.) with good knowledge of administrative law and several years of experience in qualified legal work within the public sector. Experience from a municipality or region is particularly meritorious. The role requires the ability to quickly grasp legal issues both broadly and deeply.

As a person, you are structured, result- and development-oriented, and have high integrity. Since the work often takes place in collaboration with other colleagues, the role requires you to be receptive and have a high ability to adapt to situations. You are meticulous and accustomed to working with multiple issues in parallel. As you will be giving presentations and training to different target groups, it is necessary that you have good communication skills and express yourself well in both speech and writing.

The position will be security-classified and requires a passed security clearance and register check in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: As agreed.
Working hours: Daytime.
