Building and maintaining roads and infrastructure is a big task. Contributing to societal development is even bigger. With us, you get to do both. We are now looking for an Accountant for our office in Växjö. At Svevia, we combine the camaraderie and team spirit of a small business with the stability of a large corporation. Here, you have the opportunity to develop yourself and others as a road specialist - with commitment, collaboration, and responsibility.

Your role as Accountant

You will work in a team consisting of eleven colleagues. The team shares responsibility for delivery, and tasks will evolve over time based on business needs and your strengths.

The workday begins with a joint check-in where the team reviews the day's priorities and distributes the work. Regardless of specific tasks, we work closely together to create the best possible delivery.

Tasks within the department include:

  • Ongoing accounting and economic administration
  • Support to the business unit's accountants
  • Internal control of economic processes
  • Credit risk management
  • Participation in development initiatives within economic processes and our systems
  • Business-oriented system administration
  • Work within accounts payable and accounts receivable

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who thrives in a changing environment, where collaboration and improvement work are a natural part of everyday life. You appreciate variety, approach new questions with curiosity, and enjoy finding solutions when challenges arise.

Since many of our tasks are interconnected and influence each other, you must value working closely with your colleagues. We share responsibility for the tasks; here we succeed together and help each other out when the workload shifts within the group.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • An academic education in economics, for example, a Master of Science in Business and Economics degree
  • Very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good digital literacy and interest in systems and processes

We consider the following to be meritorious:

  • Experience working in an economics department in a larger organization
  • Experience with the business system Agresso
  • Experience with Medius
  • Good skills in Excel
  • Experience with system administration or process development within the economic field
