Habasit AB is the headquarters for the Nordic operations and is beautifully located next to Västra Nedsjön in Hindås. The Nordic operations have approximately 60 employees, with the majority based in Hindås. This is where central functions such as Customer Service, Finance, and Production are located.

About the role As a Technical Customer Support specialist, you will be part of a team of approximately 10 colleagues, focusing on the entire customer chain – from needs analysis and technical discussions with customers to order placement and production planning. The Customer Support group is currently in a development phase where we will enhance technical competence while implementing several digital tools to automate various tasks.

You will collaborate closely with our sales team, product managers, and production department. It is important that you are customer-oriented, capable of understanding the customer's technical needs, and able to translate these into the correct product solution and order configuration. You will have many exciting and varied tasks, as well as international contacts with our global production units and, above all, our customers in the Nordic countries.

You will naturally receive thorough training regarding material selection and application areas for our conveyor belts and drive belts to ensure the customer receives the right application. Within the Nordic company, we have high technical competence to support the customer support group.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and analyze customer inquiries and application needs. You will work together with sales and product managers to develop the right technical solution for each customer.
  • Manage the entire order flow: process customer orders, place orders with suppliers, follow up on delivery times, and ensure that products and specifications match customer requirements.
  • Responsible for the daily prioritization of time-critical customer orders and continuously monitor deliveries according to established routines, proactively handling deviations.
  • Work with and interpret technical documentation, product data, and background information to recommend the right product for the right application.
  • Communicate with field sales and other internal functions to ensure that production, price levels, discounts, sales terms, and customer registers are up to date.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers via phone and email, and create upselling opportunities with our customers.
  • Handle complaints in close dialogue with customers, sales, suppliers, and production.

Your qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a natural science or technical focus.
  • Very good computer skills and an aptitude for quickly mastering new advanced systems.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious qualifications:

  • Post-secondary technical education.
  • Experience in technical customer support or as an order receiver, inside sales, or in services within production or industrial operations.
  • Experience working in SAP or other large business systems.
  • Knowledge of Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish.

Your personality: You find it easy to collaborate in teams, are motivated by solving customers' technical challenges, and thrive in a flow with many parallel cases. You are meticulous, structured, and have a natural aptitude for understanding how things work technically. As a person, you are solution-oriented, curious, and dare to ask questions to confirm that you understand the customer's real needs before proposing a solution. You enjoy dialogue with both customers and internal contacts, have a professional and humble approach, and are not afraid to be proactive and take an active role in optimizing and solving problems.
