We conduct research in law with a focus on operational law and international law, defense systems, military science, leadership and command, military history, and political science.

The Swedish National Defence College has a central HR department that maintains continuous contact with the college's management and other units. The department works both strategically and operationally in areas such as HR, payroll, travel, and wellness/health, and currently has twelve employees. The way of working is characterized by community, openness, professionalism, and a coaching collaboration. The department includes four HR partners, two payroll specialists, one HR controller, one military recruiter, two health educators, and one HR manager. The HR department is a well-knit group where we help each other with the best interests of FHS in focus.
