About the Company
Our client is a public sector organization working to provide support and services to citizens. The finance function plays a central role in ensuring efficient, quality-assured, and well-functioning financial processes. We are now looking for a Finance Assistant who wants to become an important part of an engaged team and contribute to structured financial work.
Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Duration: August 20, 2026 – November 30, 2026
Location: Stockholm area
Work format: Primarily on-site
Your Responsibilities
As a Finance Assistant, you will work broadly with ongoing financial administration and support the operations with finance-related questions. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in finance as well as various operational managers.
Examples of tasks:
- Handle supplier accounts payable, including invoices, coding, approval workflows, and reconciliations.
- Prepare documentation for external invoices and reimbursements.
- Work with customer accounts receivable, invoicing, and payments.
- Perform account reconciliations and periodizations.
- Assist with year-end closing and preparation of documentation.
- Administer finance-related documents and records.
- Calculate reimbursements and handle documentation related to forecasts and budgets.
- Provide support and advice to operations regarding financial matters.
- Work in the financial system Proceedo and provide support regarding permissions and basic system administration.
- Contribute to improvement work, quality assurance, and internal control.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who have a structured way of working, good administrative skills, and a genuine interest in finance.
Qualifications:
- Upper secondary education with a focus on economics or equivalent.
- Experience in financial administration.
- Proficiency in financial systems and digital approval workflows.
- Very good administrative skills and high attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in economics.
- Experience in financial work within the public sector.
- Experience with Proceedo or similar financial systems.
Personal Attributes:
To succeed in this role, you are meticulous, responsible, and service-oriented. You thrive when collaborating with others, take initiative, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel. You work with high integrity and maintain a professional approach to sensitive information.
