Here at Kultur Sundbyberg, we work with the creation, acquisition, management, and accessibility of both fixed and movable art. The department is responsible for Sundbyberg's art collection, which consists of approximately 2,000 works, most of which are located in the city's premises.

The Art Department is part of Kultur Sundbyberg, which is included in the Culture and Leisure Administration.

The Culture and Leisure Administration is hbtq-certified, and we assume that you want to work together with us to ensure that Sundbyberg's city art is characterized by inclusivity. This starting point is leading in how we choose art based on representation and expression, but also in how we make art accessible to everyone who lives and visits the city.

As the coordinator of fixed art, you are responsible for monitoring the one-percent rule, creating building-related art from start to finish, as well as managing and disseminating it. You also collaborate with the coordinator for the city's movable art.

Your tasks primarily involve project managing art tenders according to LOU (Public Procurement Act). Managing the existing art collection is also part of your assignment. You will also collaborate with an art assistant regarding the purchase, placement, and management of movable art.

We want you to have a university education regarding public art that the employer finds relevant. You should have experience leading art tenders within the public sector. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

The position is a fixed-term part-time employment for 6 months, 80%, Sep 2026–Feb 2027. Start date Aug 24 or as agreed.
