As a case worker within investment support, you will belong to the Division of Growth and Society Building and the Unit for Investment Support and Cultural Environment. Here, there are several different grants and subsidies, and we work across boundaries when necessary. The division promotes the county's long-term growth and sustainable societal development through, among other things, advice, supervision, and collaboration with the county's municipalities and other actors. Regulatory enforcement is a significant part of the division's operations.
What does the role involve?
Primarily, you will work with supervision of state grants and subsidies. The work involves planning, implementing, and following up on supervisory cases to ensure that support has been granted and used in accordance with current regulations and conditions. You will, among other things, review documentation, analyze data, communicate with grant recipients and other relevant actors, and document and make decisions in supervisory cases.
The work requires legal certainty, precision, and the ability to interpret and apply regulations.
You will also process investment support. The grant you will primarily handle is "energy efficiency in small houses," which aims to promote efficient energy use and thereby reduce households' vulnerability to high energy prices.
As a case worker at the County Administrative Board, you guide applicants regarding the support and the application process. The goal is to process cases and conduct supervision in an efficient and legally secure manner in accordance with current ordinances. We have an open working climate within the division and work in close collaboration with other functions within the agency. You will also have many external contacts with authorities, companies, associations, municipalities, and private individuals.
Are you the one we are looking for?
For this role, we require that you have:
- An academic education in law, political science, social sciences, business administration, or another education that the employer considers equivalent.
- Experience in qualified case handling within public operations.
- Experience in interpreting and applying laws, ordinances, or other regulations.
- Very good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish.
We are looking for you who is a team player who likes to bounce ideas and thoughts with the other case workers within supervision. You should be curious and ready to deepen your knowledge in various subjects. You should be independent and enjoy getting cases resolved within specified timeframes. The work requires you to be structured in your working methods.

As an employee at the County Administrative Board, you need:
- The ability to make decisions from a holistic perspective, taking several viewpoints into account.
- An understanding that a central role for the County Administrative Board is to make trade-offs between different interests.
- The ability to prioritize and adapt to work with new tasks or in new contexts.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience in supervision, audit, control activities, or compliance reviews.
- Experience in processing state grants or subsidies.
- Previous work with investigative tasks.
