Lärandearena is a central special instructional group within Primary School Support in Enköping Municipality. We meet students in grades 4-9 who need a smaller and more adapted setting to succeed in school.

We are in a recruitment process where the operation's needs may be met either through a teacher position or through a temporary role as a student assistant/social pedagogue. Therefore, we welcome applications from people with different competencies and experience working with children and young people. Depending on the applicant's competence, the position may be structured as a temporary teaching position primarily in English and Social Studies, or as a student assistant/social pedagogue.

As a pedagogical staff member, you are an important part of the students' entire school day. You contribute to structure, predictability, and meaningfulness, and support the students in transitions, social situations, and teaching moments. You help students get started, participate in teaching, and carry out the day based on their prerequisites. The role involves close and trust-based collaboration with colleagues, students, and guardians.

We are looking for you who have a great interest in working with children and young people where relationship-building is a central part of the assignment. Experience with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), problematic school absenteeism, or other support needs is meritorious, as is experience in teaching or the ability to support in various subjects if needed.

As a person, you are curious, secure, and stable. You have a low-affective approach, are good at building trust, and meet students with calm, patience, and respect. You see opportunities where others see obstacles, are solution-focused, and unpretentious. You believe in the student's ability to succeed, contribute where needs arise, and look at the operation as a whole. The position is a three-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension.
