Are you skilled in web technologies and interested in working with web communications that impact business competitiveness and regional development? Then a position as a Web Specialist at Tillväxtverket (Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth) is for you. We are strengthening our communications team for approximately one year.
At Tillväxtverket, we work for competitive businesses and sustainable development throughout Sweden. We offer knowledge, networks, and opportunities for investment. This provides direct benefits to companies and creates prerequisites for businesses, municipalities, and regions to meet future challenges. Tillväxtverket is a national authority with a regional presence in nine locations.
As a Web Specialist, you will become part of Tillväxtverket's communications unit, which is responsible for strategic guidelines regarding external and internal communications. We drive, develop, and coordinate the authority's communications work, providing support and producing content. Your colleagues have other specialized competencies and areas of responsibility; together, we work as a team.
About the role
In the role of Web Specialist, you can expect interesting and varied work in close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues. You will work both strategically and operationally with the authority's external and internal websites from a holistic perspective on the authority's combined mission and communications. You will provide qualified web support to employees and managers within other parts of the organization and act as an advisor to others within the communications unit.
The work involves managing and developing functions and content on the authority's websites, including tillvaxtverket.se and the authority's intranet. This includes structure and navigation, as well as web adaptation of information with a focus on plain language, accessibility, and search engine and AI optimization. The role may include monitoring and analyzing website data and user behavior, as well as driving or participating in web development projects. Handling ongoing web support tickets is also part of the role.
A specific task may involve further developing and coordinating our editorial work and providing editorial support that ensures efficient content management. Another task may include participating in the procurement of external vendors. You will work on several assignments in parallel; sometimes you will lead or work on a task yourself, and sometimes you will be part of a working group.
Your place of work is: Stockholm or Östersund
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least two years of university or college studies in web communications or other education/experience that Tillväxtverket assesses as equivalent.
- At least two years of experience as a web specialist/web editor/web manager.
- Good knowledge of a professional web publishing tool, including experience working with web structure and functionality.
- Experience in structuring and optimizing others' texts and producing own content for websites.
- Experience from web work within the public sector.
- Good knowledge of plain language.
The following are meritorious:
- Very good knowledge of Sitevision.
- Experience in managing and developing content and functions for intranets (not primarily news work).
- Experience with large, complex websites.
- Experience in organizing editorial organizations.
- Experience in contacting external vendors.
- Experience in using AI for your own work, experience with AI functionality on websites, and an interest in how AI affects web communications.
As a person, we are looking for someone who is structured, meticulous, and analytical. You are creative and have a solution-oriented and collaborative approach to work, and you find it easy to build relationships.
We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
We expect you to adhere to our employee and manager policy (https://tillvaxtverket.se/tillvaxtverket/omtillvaxtverket/jobbahososs/fordelarmedattjobbahososs/medarbetarochchefspolicy.600.html), which expresses the expectations we have for all employees.

This unites all state employees, regardless of activity and profession. The value base aims to create an administration that is efficient, legally secure, and free from corruption and abuse of power.
