Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that impact people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion SEK annually. These are everyone's tax funds we are entrusted with. This is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we think innovatively and utilize the latest technology to simplify, improve, develop, and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. Welcome to one of Sweden's largest IT departments.
The Payment business area manages the systems at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency that ensure payments reach the recipient on time. Our contribution is a prerequisite for the Swedish welfare system to function. This is truly important. We now need to strengthen several of our teams working with our payment systems.
C++, Development, and Agile Teams
We work in close collaboration between IT and the business when creating new payment systems and maintaining our existing ones. To meet the needs that exist, we need to grow our development team. We are now looking for driven C++ system developers.
As a system developer with us, you will work in agile teams, where the teams are self-organizing and self-managing. You are expected to take on various tasks throughout the entire development chain. DevOps is now a natural part of the team's daily routine.
We believe we become better when we work together, and therefore our work is characterized by collaboration and dialogue.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for you who
- have a university degree or experience and qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent
- have relevant work experience in the role of system developer
- have experience programming in C++
- act on your own initiative and take responsibility for results with high quality
- collaborate effectively to achieve common goals
- have good communication skills
- have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
It is meritorious if you have
- experience with agile working methods (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban)
- experience with OpenShift and container technology
- experience working in the area of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (e.g., Jenkins Pipeline, GitOps, Docker, and Kubernetes)
- experience working with requirements analysis
- experience with Linux, GCC, Git, Google Test
- experience with Java, Maven, Gradle
- are comfortable working in the command prompt.

Other
Two positions, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. Probation period may apply. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive operations. To be employed in such a position, a approved security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.
