About the role As a Test Lead at Knowit Connectivity in Östersund, you will become a key part of the team in our customer projects. You will be responsible for planning, leading, and monitoring testing activities in one of our deliveries. The role involves responsibility for test strategies and test design, as well as coordinating testing activities.

You will:

• Design and develop test strategies and test plans for the project
• Ensure quality through test design, test cases, requirement traceability, and risk-based testing
• Work as a key testing resource in the project
• Be responsible for project and user documentation
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, product owners, and operations to ensure delivery quality
• Report test status, risks, and quality indicators to project management and the customer

We are looking for We are looking for you who are an experienced test lead and tester, thriving in a consulting role and able to switch between advisory and practical work. You have a good understanding of both technical and organizational aspects of testing and quality assurance, as well as the ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and clients. You are curious and interested in learning new things and getting to know the business.

You also have:

• Several years of experience in test leadership or a similar role within system development or integration projects
• Experience with test methodology, test design, requirement management, and risk-based testing
• Practical experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines in MS DevOps
• Ability to plan and prepare testing activities
• Interest in promoting development in processes and working methods

Employment and location The position is a permanent full-time role based in Östersund. Start date by agreement. We offer a flexible working model with both office work, customer visits, and the possibility to work from home depending on the nature of the project.
