Region Jämtland Härjedalen is Hiring: Team Lead for Data and Automation

We are looking for a Team Lead who wants to create the conditions for our data and automation team to focus on the right things, work efficiently together, and translate business needs into concrete solutions.

In this role, you hold a key position between the business operations, management, and the team. You are not responsible for HR matters, but you support the team on a daily basis by creating structure, supporting prioritization, removing obstacles, and contributing to the team's long-term development.

You need to have a good understanding of data, BI, AI, and automation, but the role is primarily about leadership, coordination, and business development rather than being the foremost technical specialist yourself.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

  • Support the daily work in the data and automation team
  • Lead and coordinate the team's planning, prioritization, and follow-up of work
  • Contribute to developing working methods, collaboration, and structure within the team
  • Act as a contact point between business operations, management, and the team
  • Identify and drive improvement initiatives within data, analysis, and automation
  • Ensure that the team's work is anchored in business needs and goals
  • Contribute to environmental scanning and development in areas such as data, automation, and AI
  • Create conditions for the team to deliver sustainable and value-creating solutions

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Post-secondary education in IT, systems science, or equivalent experience assessed by the employer as equivalent
  • Experience leading or coordinating teams, formally or informally
  • Understanding of areas such as data, BI, AI, integrations, or automation
  • Experience working in the borderland between business operations and IT
  • Good ability to create structure, prioritize, and drive work forward
  • Ability to communicate and build good collaborations with different target groups and roles
  • Interest in how data, automation, and AI can create business value

Employment type: Permanent position

Workplace: Östersund city center with the possibility of partial remote work. This provides good conditions for living in Åre or other parts of the Jämtland mountain world and combining meaningful work with an active leisure time.
