We are now looking for a communicator for a one-year fixed-term position in Gothenburg.

About the assignment

You will become part of a small communications function where you work closely with the communications manager and enjoy a varied role with significant autonomy. You will support the organization with both strategic and operational communication matters, contributing to engaging communication for various target groups.

The organization is in an exciting phase of development with several long-term initiatives, making communication play a vital role both internally and externally.

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will be employed by us at StudentConsulting and work as a consultant for our client. The assignment period is from August 31, 2026, to August 27, 2027. The position is full-time with standard office hours.

The role is primarily based at the office in Gothenburg. Some remote work may be possible in the long term.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Plan, produce, and publish content for social media.
• Manage ongoing communication across the organization's social channels, including monitoring and evaluating content performance.
• Create and update content for the website and intranet.
• Write, edit, and quality-assure texts for various channels and target audiences.
• Provide communication support to managers and employees.
• Support HR with communication regarding recruitment and employer branding.
• Create simple graphic materials and collaborate with external agencies for larger productions.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a university degree in Media and Communication Studies or another education deemed equivalent.
• Has several years of experience working as a communicator.
• Is a skilled writer capable of adapting messages and tone to different audiences and channels.
• Has good experience with social media and digital communication.
• Has experience working with WordPress and SharePoint.
• Has good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Communicates fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Works in a structured manner, takes responsibility for tasks, and has strong planning and prioritization skills.
• Is humble, team-oriented, and enjoys supporting various parts of the organization.

Merits

• Experience filming, editing, and producing short videos for social media.
• Experience in communication within the public sector or other politically governed organizations.
• Knowledge of web accessibility.
