ICA Kvantum in Skövde is a family-owned business with approximately 70 employees.

As our Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the confectionery and speciality department. Your responsibilities include product selection, economics, operations, purchasing, product development, and inspiration.

Responsibilities:

You are responsible for the daily product operations and will inspire customers with our assortment, inspiration, new products, as well as interesting and current local suppliers within confectionery and speciality items. A key part of the role is ensuring effective communication, price perception, and creating a unified structure in the department. Your duties include planning, establishing, and anchoring routines, sales steering, sales planning, maintaining sales momentum, and constantly working to keep the department well-presented and clean.

You work weekly with orders and campaigns. The position involves working towards set goals and the department's budget.

You will also work in team picking across all departments in the store and lead the team when they pick in your department.

The role involves product picking, customer service, and some administrative work. The position includes shifts on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

We are looking for someone who:

We are looking for you with initiative and strong positive energy. You should be a role model, see the customer's needs, and gladly provide the best customer treatment. You must be able to handle stressful situations and have the ability to see the big picture in your work. You are outgoing, enjoy leading a group, but can also work independently.

You are structured, have a good sense of order, are engaged and development-oriented, with a focus on sales, operations, and creating good profitability.

Qualifications:

• Many years of experience in a leading position in the grocery retail industry.
• Very good knowledge of store economics.
• Structured with a good awareness of quality.

As Sales Manager, you report to the Sales Director for the department.

The position is 36.45 hours/week. We offer a permanent employment with an initial 6-month probation period.

The position is available immediately or by agreement.

Salary according to agreement.
