As the Deputy Sales Manager here, you will share responsibility for the Fruit & Vegetable department with the Sales Manager. Your areas of responsibility include stock picking, economics, operations, purchasing, product development, and inspiration.

Responsibilities:

In consultation with the Sales Manager, you are responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations. Every day and week, you will inspire customers with our assortment, color displays, seasonal offerings, and local suppliers within the Fruit & Vegetable department.

The Fruit & Vegetable department is, from the customer's perspective, the most important section in the store.

A key part of the job involves working with effective communication, price experiences, and product experiences, as well as creating a unified structure within the department. You will contribute to fulfilling the department's plans, establish and follow routines, drive sales, plan campaigns, and maintain sales momentum.

When the Sales Manager is not present, you are responsible for orders and campaigns.

You will assist the Sales Manager in working towards the set budget.

The role also involves participating in team picking across all departments in the store, and leading the team when they pick in your department during the Sales Manager's absence.

The majority of the role involves stock picking, with an approximate split of 80% picking and 20% administrative work. The position also includes weekend work.

Qualifications:

• Experience from a leading position in the grocery retail industry.
• Good knowledge of store economics.
• Structured with a strong awareness of quality.

As the Deputy Sales Manager, you report to the Sales Manager for the department.

The position is full-time (100%).

The position is available immediately or by agreement.

Salary is negotiable.
