We have several different roles with varying focus and complexity. This means we are happy to hear from you regardless of whether you are at the beginning of your career or have several years of experience in software development, system development, embedded development, or hardware-near development.

About the role:

As a software developer, you will work in technology-intensive projects where you contribute to the development of products, systems, and solutions that make a difference. Depending on your background and interest, the role may involve work in embedded development, application development, backend, frontend, test development, automation, DevOps, system development, or software architecture.

In some roles, there is also the opportunity to work close to hardware and electronics, which is positive if you have an understanding of or interest in electrical engineering components. You often work closely with colleagues in areas such as software, electronics, mechanics, systems, testing, production, and product ownership. The role can cover the entire or parts of the development chain, from requirements, architecture, and design to implementation, testing, verification, and further development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, further develop, and maintain software for products, systems, or internal tools
• Work with requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and verification
• Program in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar
• Develop embedded software, applications, backend, or frontend solutions
• Contribute to test automation, CI/CD, debugging, and quality assurance
• Collaborate with other technical areas to create robust and usable solutions
• Work close to hardware, electronics, and other technical areas in product-near development projects
• Create technical documentation and contribute to method, product, and process development
• Support projects with technical assessments, solution proposals, and improvement work

We are looking for you who:

• Have a university or civil engineering degree in computer science, software development, technical physics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar
• Have at least one year of experience in software development or related work
• Have a good understanding of programming, system development, and problem-solving
• Are accustomed to working with one or more programming languages, frameworks, or development tools
• Have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in internal and external contacts

About the employment:

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client's side and ours is that you will become directly employed by the client after 6-12 months.
