We are now looking for a Systems Engineer!
Upcoming customer deliveries and new contracts mean we now need you who can handle requirements management and verification at the system level, system-level traceability, and traceability between systems and software.
Systems Engineer at UMS Skeldar
You will become part of our Product & Compliance department, consisting of Chief Engineers, Configuration Managers, System Safety Engineers, and Quality Engineers. The team works closely with the entire business on system and quality-related issues, ensuring that our product is technically controlled, safe, airworthy, and regulatorily approved throughout its entire lifecycle.
The role of Systems Engineer spans several technical areas with broad interfaces throughout the organization, both in hardware and software.
In the role of Systems Engineer, you will:
- Drive the breakdown of customer and product requirements into system requirements per sub-area together with the material group manager for the respective subsystem.
- Conduct formal reviews.
- Develop/complete the current process for:
- Requirements management and verification at the system level.
- System-level traceability to meet current standards for flying systems.
- Traceability between systems and software.
You will become a key person in realizing working methods within requirements management in the organization!

To succeed in this role, we also see that you have a Master of Science degree in Engineering and have work experience in system architecture including requirements management, verification/validation, and traceability from requirements to testing. Knowledge/experience within safety-critical or defense-related systems is highly meritorious.
The position requires proficiency in both English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
