WISI Norden is a small company with around 20 employees, part of the larger WISI Group. In Linköping, we develop central units for video and TV distribution. Our products handle large amounts of data in metropolitan networks and installations worldwide. We enable professional TV distribution through various technologies such as optics, radio, encryption, and compression.

In Linköping, we develop both software and hardware. We are proud to be involved in the entire design and lifecycle of our products!

ABOUT THE ROLE

WISI Norden is now strengthening its team in Linköping with a Technical Project Coordinator. In this role, you will have central responsibility for creating structure, coordinating projects, and driving work forward in the development teams. You will become a key link between the teams in Linköping, Tunisia, Germany, and Vancouver, ensuring that projects are followed up, information is shared, and the teams have the right conditions for success. You will be based at the office in Linköping, but travel may occur once or twice a year.

A large part of the role involves project management and coordination. You will lead daily check-ins with the teams, follow up on activities, and ensure that projects stay on the right track and pace. You will gradually take on greater responsibility for your own projects and initiatives. In parallel, you will work with programming and various development projects here in Linköping.

WHO ARE YOU?

For the role of Technical Project Coordinator, we are looking for you who have a technical background and want to develop further in a broader role. You have studied at the university or college level and have gathered a few years of experience in programming. You are attracted to taking the next step in a role where you can utilize your ability to be the center of the web, coordinate, and lead projects. If you have experience in a leading and/or coordinating role, such as Project Manager or Scrum Master, we see this as strongly meritorious but not a requirement.

You are accustomed to working in a structured manner and driving your work forward independently. You have a positive attitude and are good at finding creative solutions. We also believe that you are social, curious, and skilled at communicating with new people. You enjoy making connections and collaborating with your colleagues. You are used to switching between a holistic and a detailed perspective.

We also believe the following points apply to you:

• Technical education at the university level, specializing in computer science, systems science, innovative programming, or equivalent
• A few years of experience in development using C, C++, or similar languages
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

If you speak Arabic, we see this as strongly meritorious, as you will have daily contact with colleagues who speak it!
