Develop solutions that make a difference – for people and for society
Behind every digital service and case management system at the Swedish Migration Agency are developers who make it possible for the authority to fulfill its societal mission.
What we build is used every day by thousands of employees and influences how people interact with the Swedish Migration Agency. Here, you have the opportunity to develop solutions that must be secure, accessible, and sustainable – and that make a real difference.
The Swedish Migration Agency's development organization is one of the largest Java development organizations in Östergötland, consisting of approximately 20 self-managing teams. We develop and maintain the majority of the authority's business systems, which are largely self-developed. At the same time, we are on an exciting technological journey where we are modernizing our platforms and building tomorrow's digital solutions.
Here, developers work close to the business operations. This means you will gain a good understanding of users' needs and see the practical results of your work. We believe in knowledge sharing, flat hierarchies, and an open work climate where we develop together and help each other find the best solutions.
We work with modern development methods and a tech stack that includes Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, React, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes. The teams work primarily from our offices in Norrköping or Linköping, with the possibility of some remote work depending on operational needs.

- testing and quality assuring both your own and the team's solutions

We work with modern methods and have a strong focus on automation. Currently, we are developing a cloud-native platform based on Docker and Kubernetes, where you will become a key part of our continued technological journey.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are an experienced system developer and thrive on collaborating to create high-quality solutions. You take responsibility for both your own deliverables and the team's joint results. You are curious, engaged, and happy to share your knowledge while also wanting to continue developing yourself.
