Kungsängsgymnasiet in beautiful Sala is looking for an experienced and dedicated German teacher. We preferably see that you also have the qualification to teach Swedish, or at least German combined with another subject.

About the workplace

Kungsängsgymnasiet is a modern upper secondary school with approximately 480 students. We offer eight national programs as well as the Introduction Program. Our goal is for every student to succeed, and for three years we have received support in our work from the Swedish National Agency for Education's initiative "Collaboration for the Best School".

The students feel safe and enjoy being at the school, which is reflected in our safety surveys, and we have a high proportion of qualified teachers. Job Responsibilities

As a teacher with us, you will teach German on the national programs. The position involves teaching at the beginner, basic, and advanced levels, distributed across four groups. You will become part of an engaged team and collaborate closely with colleagues within the program and subject groups, as well as with the Student Health Team (EHT). You will belong to the program team for the Economics Program.

We are looking for you who

• Have the qualification, pedagogical experience, and ability to teach German and one additional subject at the upper secondary level. We preferably see that you also have the qualification to teach Swedish at the upper secondary level.
• Have good cooperation skills with students, colleagues, and other staff.
• Are flexible, creative, and use ICT in teaching.
• Personal suitability is given great weight.

Qualifications

• Are a certified teacher with qualifications in German for upper secondary school and one additional subject.
• Additional merit is given if you have the qualification to teach Swedish at the upper secondary level.
• Good subject knowledge and a positive, inclusive approach.

Terms of Employment

Individual salary setting

Start date: August 10, 2026, or as agreed

Requirement for a certificate of good conduct upon offer of employment. This is in accordance with the Act on Register Control in School, Leisure, and Preschool Activities. The Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register, RPS 442.5 (14-01-14)
