Description

Yrkesgymnasiet Västerås is now expanding its operations with an additional mathematics teacher position at 50% employment. It is desirable that you also have the qualifications to teach Swedish or English.

We are looking for you who:

• Wish to teach your subject areas in an inspiring manner and possess solid subject matter competence.

• Keep up to date with the latest developments in your field and wish to teach in a realistic and subject-integrated approach.

• Want to create inspiring and adapted teaching that challenges and develops the students, while building trusting relationships with both students and colleagues.

• Plan, document, and conduct your teaching in accordance with the guidelines regulated by the steering documents for upper secondary schools in the Swedish National Agency for Education's (Skolverket) course plans.

Start date: August 10, 2026

Qualifications

You have a teacher's degree and teacher certification, as well as solid subject matter competence in mathematics for upper secondary school.
