Your Responsibilities

Your main task will be to work with planning, teaching, guidance, and value-based work based on the curriculum (LGR22). However, being a teacher today involves much more. It is about constantly developing new working methods based on the students you meet, capturing their interests, and creating fun and challenging teaching. It also involves documenting student learning to enable them to reach their goals. In addition to pedagogical work, you will also engage in student health work to ensure that students are well and feel safe at school.

Your Competence

You are a certified teacher for primary school up to Year 6, or alternatively a certified preschool teacher with qualifications to teach in preschool class. You are confident in your pedagogical leadership and actively use digital tools in the classroom. As a person, you build trust, serve as a role model, and establish relationships with students and their guardians. Collaboration is second nature to you, both in planning and in sharing knowledge and experiences.

Recruitment Process

During weeks 29-30, we will have a summer break in the recruitment process. This means we will have limited availability to answer questions and any interviews will take place no earlier than from week 31.

We have a central and common recruitment process for teachers in primary school. This means that we interview and appoint our positions continuously based on the schools' needs. We update the advertisement continuously with vacant positions. You will naturally have the opportunity to express your preference for schools when you submit your application. If you proceed after a possible interview, you will have the opportunity to visit selected schools based on current needs.

If you are not a trained teacher, your application may be forwarded to principals who have vacant fixed-term positions.

If you currently work as a teacher in our schools but are interested in changing units, you need to apply here. However, you will not need to go through all stages of the recruitment process.

When you apply, you fill out a questionnaire where you have the opportunity to state which school or schools you are interested in. In your application, we ask that you attach:

Other Information

Before you can be employed, we conduct a background check, and you must present a clean criminal record extract from the police.

During the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a certificate of residence together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
