Our educational activities are located in our three urban areas: Ramnäs, Virsbo, and Surahammar. This includes preschool, preschool class, comprehensive school, adapted comprehensive school, after-school centers, and youth clubs.

Tuppkärrsskolan

Tuppkärrsskolan is a development-oriented and pleasant school located in Surahammar, comprising grades 4–6 with approximately 300 students. The teachers at Tuppkärrsskolan work as subject teachers and are organized in work teams per grade level. The school has a high level of teacher qualifications, and everyone works to ensure that students reach their goals as far as possible based on individual ability. The school has common theme days and traditions, and to ensure that the entire school operation collaborates on goals and development, all schools in the municipality hold regular subject meetings.

Job Responsibilities

You will collaborate with colleagues and participate in the work for the development of the group and the entire school. Your task is to create a predictable operation with few changes. The assignment may change based on the school's growth or changed needs in the operation.

You plan, implement, evaluate, follow up, and document students' knowledge development and personal progress. Close contact with guardians and students is important.

Qualifications

• You are a certified teacher with knowledge and experience working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).
• You can adapt your teaching daily based on the students' needs at both group and individual levels. You can create a clear structure every day with a focus on work peace, security, and goal achievement.
• You are a positive person with a solution-oriented mindset and creative ideas, and you gladly contribute new thinking and inspiration for the students.
• You are a professional and confident leader with the ability to work in and lead teams, while also being able to work independently.
• You have experience in building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• You have a low-affective approach and the ability to remain calm even when the unexpected happens.
• You have very high linguistic and communicative skills.
• Experience in student health services and working with external contacts such as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), Habilitation Services (HAB), speech therapists, school social teams, AV1, robot, and SIP is meritorious.
