Jobb och kompetenscenter is one of two labor market units within the Municipality of Kristianstad. We work with work training and motivation-enhancing activities to give citizens the prerequisites to approach work or education. Now we are looking for you who want to become part of our operations!

Your role with us

We have a new assignment together with the Human Bridge Foundation, where you will supervise participants in handling and sorting materials collected from recycling bins. This mainly involves sorting textiles, but may also include other materials left in for recycling.

The tasks include documentation and administration, both internally and externally. You will be responsible for the contact with Human Bridge and ensure that the assignment is carried out according to agreement.

We work closely with our participants, and our ambition is to create a positive atmosphere where participants can develop at their own pace. You supervise participants in their daily work and participate in their follow-ups. You will plan your work largely independently.

The role as a supervisor involves physical work and forklift driving.

Who are we looking for?

For us, it is important that we hire the right person, which is why your personal qualities weigh heavily for the position. You are a calm person who easily builds relationships, both internally and externally. You have patience and tolerance for people's differences and are not afraid to set boundaries. You have a respectful attitude and take responsibility for your tasks.

The applicant has a completed upper secondary education and several years of experience in leading, instructing, and motivating adults. You have a B driver's license and preferably a forklift license for counterbalance forklifts.

You should be computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

When an applicant is offered employment, the person who in their work directly and regularly comes into contact with minors must present an extract from the police criminal record register according to the provisions in 2013:852 Social Services Act.

The Municipality of Kristianstad applies individual and differentiated salary setting.
