Kurera Omsorg is a young and modern care company with three business areas: Personal Assistance, Individual and Family Care, and Rusta och Matcha. Our head office is located in Malmö, and we also have offices for personal assistance in Västervik and Stockholm.

Scope and Schedule

  • Scope: 150 hours per month.
  • Schedule: Fixed schedule with every other weekend work. Applies to day, afternoon, and evening shifts.

About Me

I am looking for someone who is responsible, stress-resistant but calm within, loyal, empathetic, humorous, yet serious when needed. Does this sound like you? Please continue reading.

My friends and family describe me as strong-willed with extensive experience in human interaction, and I often hear that I have a knack for reading what is required in different situations. I am an aesthete with a big heart for everything and everyone.

I am 49 years old but feel and look 30. I am stubborn as sin, but realistic and never give up when my heart is in it. I have lived with personal assistance since 1995. I have also run my own assistance company for 10 years, where I have trained some of Scania's best assistants.

I have an unusual progressive muscle disease that I have learned to live with. I ended up in a wheelchair at the age of 11, but I do not see it as a hindrance – life is what you make it. I have a breathing mask 24/7 that is absolutely fantastic, and I am very grateful for it. I have assistants 24/7 who work with me, not for me. We are a lovely group that gets along in wet and dry weather, and our patience is very high.

I live near Södervärn in Malmö with good bus connections, with my two dogs in a lovely apartment that I love renovating and tinkering in. I have a fantastic family and nice friends in my life. I smoke a little when I feel like it, and I cannot manage without my daily dose of coffee and lots of music. My interests, besides my apartment, are cooking, art, music (and a bit more music), my dogs, road trips, flea markets, and films. Maybe not in that order, I say with a smile.

About You as an Assistant

You need to have a high work ethic, be stress-resistant, meticulous, and have an eye for detail. You should be over 165 cm tall and able to lift up to 40 kg. Height plays an important role in the appointment of this position.

You need to be focused and attentive during your shifts. It is important that you can separate private life and work life. I preferably see that you are over 27 years old. Gender does not matter. If you have experience in the assistance profession or education with a care focus, it is an advantage.
