About the Role
We are now looking for a school counselor who wants to be an important part of our student health team and contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for our students. As a counselor, you work preventively and promotively with student health, and provide support with psychosocial issues. You collaborate with the school administration, teachers, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the right support at the right time.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide support and counseling to students on psychosocial issues.
• Participate in the school's student health team and contribute your expertise.
• Work preventively and promotively for a good learning environment.
• Collaborate with guardians and external actors when necessary.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a good ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Is solution-oriented and has a professional approach.
• Thrives working both independently and in a team.

Qualifications:

• Social work degree or other relevant higher education.
• Experience working with children and young people is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the school's governing documents and the student health mandate is a plus.
