Our client is a positive young man with a developmental delay, which affects his motor skills and communication. He lives in Båstad with his mother, father, and three younger siblings. The family leads an active and meaningful daily life, where you as an assistant will be an active participant. Some of the tasks include assisting with physiotherapy, mealtimes, and activities such as cycling. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) using signs and pictures is used as a supplementary communication method. Experience in this area is a plus but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you are attentive, learn to interpret our client's expressions and body language, and connect well with him and his family. We will teach you the rest.

Who are you?

You are expected to have strong empathy and a good understanding of appropriate interaction. You have plenty of energy, patience, and enjoy being outdoors. There is some lifting and floor-level activities involved, so you need to be in good physical shape and enjoy activating our client. You are positive and loyal in your work and can interact well with our client and his family. Your workplace is in Båstad.

Education and/or experience working with children and/or in private homes is a merit. The work involves daytime, evenings, and weekends.
