About our client
I am currently looking for a personal assistant in Klagshamn. I am a 25-year-old girl who is very happy and active. I enjoy doing fun things with my assistants; I like meeting my friends, walking with a rollator, going to the theater, going to disco, listening to music, swimming, and exercising. I also drive a manual wheelchair and communicate using some words, gestures, and signs as support (TAKK), and the assistants help me interpret. The need for assistance ranges from personal hygiene and dressing/undressing to support in everything in my daily life. I move with your help, meaning no lifting is required. I live with my family; parents and teenage siblings.

Working hours

• Every other Saturday and Sunday 09:00 - 16:00

We are looking for you who not only want a job, but who are a secure, engaged person with a heart in the right place, who laughs easily, and who wants to create a long-term relationship. It is important that you intend to stay for a longer period as continuity is of great significance.

You who apply should be lively and cheerful, with a heart in the right place, responsible and self-initiating, yet able to blend into my family. You will function as a support for me in my daily life. You are a person who is calm and secure in yourself. You are attentive to my needs, have strong social skills, and are close to laughter and playfulness. You should have great patience and be stress-resistant.

Requirements for you

• Have a driver's license (manual/automatic),
• Are a non-smoker,
• Have fluent skills in the Swedish language, both in speech and writing.

Merits if you

• Have experience within healthcare and social care, and especially within personal assistance,
• Are a swimmer and tolerate chlorine.

Number of positions: 1 Scope: approx. 20% Start date: According to agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position will be filled as soon as possible. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

The recruitment process

Upon employment
To be employed by us at Nordström Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document as well as a valid personal certificate (personbevis) and/or any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. The personal certificate can be easily downloaded from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant with us.

If you are to work with this client, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
