About the position

We are looking for a personal assistant for the summer for one of our clients in Löddeköpinge. He is a young man who uses a wheelchair and needs support in his daily life. The position is 95% with both day and evening shifts. Your duties include assisting him with everything from daily routines such as transfers using a lift, feeding via tube, and accompanying him to activities and training. On weekdays, when he is at school, you will accompany him as his assistant.

Working hours vary on weekdays and weekends as follows:

• 06:35–14:30
• 09:00–17:00
• 13:30–20:00

About the client

He is an active 18-year-old boy who is interested in football, joelle running (a form of running with a specialized device), and going swimming. He enjoys when things are happening and likes to go out on activities. He has a brain injury that makes him non-verbal, but he communicates through gestures and body language. He lives every other week with his mother and father, which is why a driver's license and access to a car are required to easily travel between homes.

About you

As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful daily life for our client. You will be an important part of his life and contribute to his independence and well-being.

We believe that you who apply for this position are a person who is sensitive, responsible, has good communication skills, and a pedagogical side, as it is important to be able to prepare the client for what is to come. The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the client. This may become decisive in the final selection.

From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply which mean that the register check covers both extracts from the criminal record register and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be made well in advance.
