Business Developer – Crime Prevention
The purpose of the Swedish Companies Registration Office's (Bolagsverket) operations is to provide the prerequisites for a stable and well-functioning business community. By registering and providing current and accurate company information, we contribute to increased transparency and security for societal actors. RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to contribute to safer business operations and stronger protection against economic crime? We are now looking for a Business Developer who wants to help develop the Swedish Companies Registration Office's crime prevention work.
Here, together with other authorities and societal actors, you will have the opportunity to develop methods, collaboration, and strategies that strengthen crime prevention efforts.
Our crime prevention department is in a setup phase, where you will have the opportunity to help shape structures, methods, and processes in important and exciting development work.
You will belong to the unit responsible for analysis and collaboration within the Swedish Companies Registration Office's crime prevention work at a strategic and tactical level. The unit drives and participates in cross-authority assignments, government assignments, and internal development initiatives to strengthen the authority's crime prevention capabilities.
As a Business Developer, you will:
- Collaborate with other authorities to develop common methods, working practices, and regulatory application within the crime prevention area.
- Participate in and lead external collaboration assignments together with authorities and other actors.
- Participate in and drive government assignments assigned to the Swedish Companies Registration Office, as well as contribute to government assignments led by other authorities.
- Participate in and coordinate internal assignments to develop the Swedish Companies Registration Office's crime prevention work, monitor status, drive the work forward, and collaborate with other units and departments.
- Work with business development through investigations and analyses that strengthen the Swedish Companies Registration Office's work against economic crime.
You will become part of a group with various specialist competencies where ideas and experiences are shared. You will have the opportunity to contribute, together with engaged colleagues, to developing the authority's crime prevention work while having good opportunities for your own professional development.
The Swedish Companies Registration Office offers several health-promoting activities and the possibility to work remotely to some extent based on operational needs. We are located in modern premises centrally at the harbor in Sundsvall, and we can also offer a workplace centrally in Stockholm.
QUALIFICATIONS
For us, it is important that you are the right person for the right place. We are looking for you who work systematically and plan your work in a thoughtful way. You have strong analytical skills and can see connections in complex information. You feel confident in collaborations and in situations where you need to make professional assessments. You are also curious and have an easy time absorbing new knowledge and adapting to changed conditions both within the authority and in society.
In this role, you must also have:
- An academic degree in a field relevant to the operations, or equivalent knowledge and experience that the employer considers relevant.
And have experience of:
- Leading assignments or projects for several years.
- Control activities within an authority or other public operations.
- External collaboration with authorities, organizations, and business life.
- Analyzing, structuring, and compiling large amounts of information.
- Developing working methods and leading change processes.
- Agile working methods.
You must also have good knowledge of Swedish and English and the ability to communicate clearly, pedagogically, and in a target-group adapted manner, both orally and in writing, as well as hold Swedish citizenship.
We consider it meritorious if you additionally have experience of:
- Structured risk management.
- Working according to changed legal requirements and legal assessments.
