We are currently looking for a qualified Accountant for a full-time assignment in Stockholm. About the Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a consultant who can independently manage qualified accounting work and contribute to an efficient finance function.

The assignment includes ongoing accounting, reconciliations, and the independent preparation and completion of monthly and annual financial statements. You will also work with VAT, tax, and declaration issues, statistical reporting, as well as handling financial systems and Excel. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and improvement of the finance function's processes and working methods.

The role is closely tied to business operations and requires a structured approach, high quality, and the ability to work independently. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their tasks, thrives in a role with significant autonomy, and can maintain focus even during periods of high workload.

Your Background, Experience, and Competence

• Documented experience in independently preparing and completing monthly and annual financial statements
• Good knowledge of accounting legislation and applicable regulations
• Experience with tax returns and handling tax and VAT
• Very good skills in Excel
• Very good system proficiency and experience with financial systems
• Ability to work independently, structured, and with a focus on quality

Meritorious:

• Experience with Unit4 (formerly Agresso)
• Experience with royalty accounting
