Adecco is currently looking for a Payroll Administrator for a long-term consulting assignment with one of our clients in Södertälje. Here you will become part of an established payroll function where you will work broadly with payroll administration from start to finish, while collaborating closely with employees and managers as well as specialists and other internal functions. This role suits you if you appreciate a varied daily routine where attention to detail, problem-solving, and a service-oriented mindset are in focus.
The assignment starts in August and initially runs for six months, with good opportunities for extension. The client also offers a flexible working model with the possibility to combine on-site work with remote work.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Payroll Administrator, you will among other things:
- Handle payroll matters from start to finish, including new hires, employment changes, terminations, absence, allowances, and deductions.
- Provide support and guidance to employees and managers on payroll-related matters.
- Perform quality controls to ensure correct payroll runs and payments.
- Administer and update payroll-related documentation.
- Participate in year-end and holiday year closing activities.
- Collaborate with internal functions as well as external parties such as authorities and suppliers.
- Contribute to development initiatives within digitalization, automation, and process improvements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement work within the payroll function.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
Must-haves (important that these are evident in your CV to be relevant in the selection process):- VET education in payroll (2 years) or equivalent post-secondary education.
- At least two years of experience in end-to-end payroll administration combined with payroll education, or alternatively at least five years of operational payroll experience.
- Experience with the payroll system SD Worx.
- Good knowledge of laws, regulations, and collective agreement issues related to payroll processing.
- Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience from larger organizations or corporations.
- Experience working with various collective agreements.
- Experience with the Technical Agreement (Teknikavtalet).
You will become part of a larger payroll function that handles approximately 23,000 payroll statements every month and works in several integrated system environments. The role involves close collaboration with payroll administrators, payroll specialists, and support functions, as well as international colleagues who support the operations in areas such as expense reports and time systems.
