SJR is looking for an experienced Accountant with a strong interest in systems for an exciting consulting assignment. The assignment covers 12 months with a desired start date of September 1st. As a consultant, you will be employed by SJR and hired out to our client, a well-known international company with offices in Södertälje.

About the role

This role is perfect for you if you have solid experience within accounting and thrive in a position where you can combine specialist knowledge with process development and change management. You will be part of a team of experts focused on developing, quality-assuring, and documenting accounting processes. The role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders within the business and requires both business understanding and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear and efficient working methods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, implementation, and improvement of accounting processes.
• Document processes, routines, and work instructions.
• Ensure quality and compliance within the accounting area.
• Contribute specialist knowledge in accounting-related questions and process design.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with process owners, business representatives, and other subject matter experts.
• Participate in and drive projects related to accounting, process development, and system changes.
• Act as support and advisor within your own area of responsibility.
• Contribute to knowledge transfer, training, and anchoring of new working methods.

Suitable background

We are looking for you who is a senior accounting profile with several years of experience in qualified accounting work. You have a very good understanding of accounting processes and have likely worked in larger or international organizations where structure, governance, and process development have been a natural part of daily life. You are accustomed to working cross-functionally and have experience participating in or leading change and improvement projects. Experience with process mapping, documentation, and implementation of new working methods is highly meritorious. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Experience with SAP is meritorious.
