About the Role

In this role, you will take full responsibility for all financial administration for several of Garageportexperten's franchisees (companies). Our finance department, consisting of four employees, functions as an internal accounting firm for our companies across the country. As an accountant, you will be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, reporting, monthly reconciliations, complete annual accounts including annual reports, and certain tax declarations. You will also work in a consultative and proactive manner, becoming a key and natural support in financial and accounting matters, as well as providing analysis to your assigned companies. Most contact with the companies takes place via email and phone, but all employees within the chain are met a couple of times per year. The role also involves external contacts, such as with auditors.

The finance department is a small team where each employee has significant individual responsibility and supports one another. The department is part of the chain's central support office, where we jointly ensure profitability and high-quality service for all franchisees. The goal is always triple win: a win for the customer, the franchisee, and the chain. There is pride in the chain's development and market-leading position, and we see continued growth. The position is permanent with a location at the support office in Linköping.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who thrive in a role that combines routine tasks with more advanced and varied responsibilities. You have a few years of experience in financial work where you have worked independently on the entire process from ongoing bookkeeping to annual accounts. Experience from working at an accounting firm with extensive customer interaction and an advisory role is a great advantage. You may also have had overall responsibility for the finances within a single company.

At a minimum, we believe you have post-secondary education in finance/accounting, e.g., a University College degree (YH), or equivalent work experience. Experience working with Visma Business is desirable. Experience working with any financial management system is a requirement. Very good proficiency in the Office suite, especially Excel. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
