International English School (IES) in Kungsbacka is now looking for a certified teacher for grades F-3 for the autumn term 2026.

Do you want to help shape the first steps in learning for the future?

We are looking for a certified teacher for grades F-3 with qualifications to teach in preschool class – a key role in students' lifelong learning journey. In light of the upcoming 2028 curriculum, we are developing teaching that places the student's curiosity, language and mathematical development, and exploratory working methods at the center.

As a preschool class teacher, you plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in close collaboration with colleagues and in line with the school's governing documents. You work with the Swedish National Agency for Education's mapping materials Find the Language and Find Mathematics as part of a systematic and forward-looking quality work.

Here, you create inspiring learning environments where play, creativity, and practical learning are central tools – in line with the curriculum's increased focus on student-active learning and holistic understanding. You follow the students' development by documenting, analyzing, and adapting teaching to give each student the best possible conditions for success.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher with qualifications for preschool class and who want to help develop teaching in line with future requirements and opportunities.

You have a positive view of people and build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You motivate and engage students through clear communication and an inclusive approach, and you see the strength in teaching in a multilingual and multicultural environment.

You express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English and use digital tools as a natural part of teaching – in line with the curriculum's focus on digital competence and future skills.
