About the Company

We are currently recruiting a qualified, licensed teacher in Mathematics/Natural Sciences (MA/NO) for our partner school, Kunskapsskolan Varberg. The school is located in beautiful premises a stone's throw from the train station and the beautiful sea. The school has a well-developed working structure in both work teams and subject teams, where you have the opportunity to leverage your colleagues' expertise. The principal is close by, and there are short communication lines at the school, which works with a strong collaborative climate to promote all teachers' pedagogical work and shape a strong collegium.

Your Responsibilities

You will teach Mathematics/Natural Sciences in the later years of compulsory school (grades 7–9). You will plan and evaluate teaching together with your subject colleagues. The day starts and ends together in the base group with you as a personal tutor. You go through the day and work together on values-based issues. Kunskapsskolan works focused on closeness to the students. In addition to being a subject teacher, you are also a personal tutor for about twenty students. You have an individual tutoring session with each of your students every week. You help them plan and set goals for their studies and follow up and guide them. Kunskapsskolan has a pronounced team-based approach. You are never alone with challenges and questions. Colleagues help each other in work teams and subject teams to plan the work. Openness between teachers is high, and there is a shared responsibility for ensuring all students succeed. To facilitate your work and free up time, a large part of Kunskapsskolan's teaching materials is available on their digital portal, Kunskapsporten. For each subject, there are suggestions for working methods, tasks, and teaching materials.

Your Profile

We welcome you who are a licensed or newly graduated teacher to apply for the position. You have the ability to understand people, to sense and feel out others, and to understand what others need and be able to support them. You possess clear leadership skills, trust in your own abilities, and build trust between yourself and the student. In the classroom, you are the natural leader who starts from each student's prerequisites and needs. You have good problem-solving skills and quickly resolve emerging problems without missing the long-term strategies. Other details:
