The Preschool and Primary School Administration is one of Varberg Municipality's largest administrations, with nearly 2,200 employees. Within our areas of operation—preschool, primary school, and child and student health—we are here for children and students. Together, we shape the future.

Lindberg School is located in a rural setting, 8 km northeast of the town center of Varberg. The school accommodates 450 students in grades F-9. The schoolyard offers opportunities for play and movement, and the school also utilizes nearby areas for outdoor life and outdoor pedagogy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you play a central role in creating a safe, developmental, and motivating environment where we together create the best possible conditions for learning. By planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching, you provide students with the prerequisites to grow based on their unique needs and goals.

Main responsibilities:

• Teaching in grades F-3, preferably with qualifications in physical education.
• Plan, lead, and evaluate teaching based on steering documents and selected didactic strategies.
• Meet each student in their knowledge progression and strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-confidence through professional leadership.
• Develop stimulating learning environments that encourage learning, participation, and student influence.
• Promote a holistic view of the student's school day through close collaboration with colleagues and guardians.
• Actively participate in the school's systematic quality work and contribute to a formative approach in daily pedagogy.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a secure pedagogical leader who provides guidance with warmth and clarity, creating the structure required for a safe learning environment. Collaboration with colleagues is a prerequisite for success for you; you collaborate without hierarchy to develop the operation together with others.

You are skilled at building relationships and creating trusting contacts with both students and guardians. You have a good feel for the group, are flexible, possess didactic ability, and adapt your methods based on students' different needs, knowledge progression, and daily condition.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a teaching license with qualifications for teaching in grades F-3.
• Has the ability to base your teaching on proven experience and scientific grounds.
• Demonstrates skill in planning and systematically following up on operations based on given frameworks.
• Has good assessment skills to follow up on students' development and provide constructive feedback.
• Possesses clear planning skills to structure lessons and work areas.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Start date: 2026-08-10. Start date according to agreement.
