The Role of Teacher with Us

The role of a teacher at the upper secondary school in Kungsbacka Municipality is characterized by a sharing culture where we jointly take responsibility, inspire, collaborate, and support each other.

The assignment includes teaching students in the subjects of Sociology and Religious Studies, as well as supervising students in year 3 of the Social Sciences programme in the course "Gymnasiearbete" (Independent Study). Additionally, you will serve as a mentor, together with another teacher, for a class in year 2 of the Social Sciences programme.

Your Profile

The right person for this job thrives in an operation with constantly changing circumstances, sees opportunities in change, and is genuinely interested in creating, maintaining, and nurturing good relationships with both colleagues and students as well as guardians. You are knowledgeable in your subjects and have a good ability to communicate with and lead young people. Together with your colleagues, you plan and organize your work effectively.

We are looking for you who are educated as an upper secondary school teacher and have the eligibility to teach Sociology and Religious Studies. If you also have experience teaching these subjects at the upper secondary level, it is an advantage. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified teacher in Sociology and Religious Studies for upper secondary school.

The following is considered an advantage:

• if you have experience working as an upper secondary school teacher in Sociology and Religious Studies

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a fixed-term full-time position (100%) during the period August 10, 2026 – January 15, 2027.
