Kunskapsskolan in Sweden, which also includes Kunskapsgymnasiet, started its first schools in 2000 and today has 29 primary schools and six upper secondary schools with 1,350 employees and 14,400 students. Kunskapsskolan is owned by its founder Peje Emilsson and his family.

Kunskapsskolan Varberg is looking for a certified teacher in Physical Education and Health, as well as a substitute teacher in the subject HKK. A combination with Mathematics or Natural Sciences/Technology may be relevant depending on the applicant's qualifications.

Kunskapsskolan Varberg is a primary school for grades 4-9 and currently has approximately 290 students. The school started in 2015 and our premises are located in central Varberg, close to both bus and train connections.

To ensure that every student reaches as far as possible, we need professional teachers with a strong commitment to the student. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual at the center, and we are therefore looking for you who always work actively to ensure your students succeed. In addition to being a subject teacher, you are also a personal advisor to about twenty students, and you have an individual advisory meeting with each of your students every week. You help them plan and set goals for their studies and follow up on the goals together with both the students and their guardians.

At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pronounced team spirit. You are never alone with challenges and questions. We help each other plan work in working groups and subject groups. The openness between teachers is great, and we share a common responsibility for our students.

To facilitate your work and enable you to focus your time on the students, we have collected a large part of our teaching materials on our digital portal, Kunskapsporten. For each subject, there are suggestions for working methods, tasks, and teaching materials.

Qualifications
We are looking for a certified teacher in Physical Education and Health, who will teach in grades 7-9 during this academic year. Complementary qualifications in the subject HKK or the subjects Natural Sciences/Technology are of great interest.

Desirable qualifications

We would like you to have a few years of experience in teaching and advising or mentoring. We want you to find it easy to collaborate with colleagues, students, and guardians, and to be solution-focused.

Job Description
The position is a permanent position at 50% with the possibility of combining it with a 50% substitute position in HKK. This combination applies during the academic year 26/27. If one has the combination of Physical Education and Health as well as Mathematics and/or Natural Sciences/Technology, there is an opportunity for a 100% permanent employment.
