Vesterhavsskolan is a primary school in Falkenberg with approximately 630 students in grades F-9.

Vesterhavsskolan is now looking for a qualified and certified special needs teacher. We are looking for you who are an engaged leader with high expectations for your students, as well as a colleague who is passionate about being involved in creating a truly excellent education and school. Planning, implementation, and assessment/evaluation are our core elements.

We want the pedagogical quality work to be based on the learning process, i.e., the teaching itself.

We believe that all students can and want to learn, and that the path to knowledge largely goes through the classroom. We also see the teacher as the most important factor for a student to succeed in their schoolwork.

You will be part of the school's combined student health team. Your tasks will be both remedial as well as promoting and preventive. The position is aimed at the middle school level (grades 4-6) with a specific focus on developing writing and reading skills. We look for someone with genuine commitment and interest in student-centered work, particularly regarding students in need of special support. You will work in parallel with special educators, other professionals within student health, and other teachers.

The position also includes 20% work in the school's special education groups.
