At the Introduction Programme at Elof Lindälv Gymnasium, you will meet students who have not yet achieved eligibility for the national upper secondary programmes or who need to strengthen their opportunities for employment and further studies. Here, you have the opportunity to make a big difference – every day. We are now looking for an engaged and relationship-building teacher in Natural Sciences subjects who wants to help create an accessible, motivating, and developmental learning environment for our students.

The role of a gymnasium teacher with us

As a teacher with us, you will become an important part of a work team where the student is always at the center. We work closely together, plan teaching jointly, and continuously develop the operations based on the students' needs.

You teach Natural Sciences subjects, plan, conduct, and assess teaching, and contribute as a resource in other contexts to create the best possible conditions for student learning. The operations are flexible and shaped according to the students' needs, which means that replanning and changes are a natural part of everyday life.

We work with accessibility-adapted teaching and see collective learning as a natural part of our development work. Through regular pedagogical discussions and close collaboration in the work team, we create a whole that strengthens students' motivation and goal achievement. Mentoring is a central part of the assignment. You build trusting relationships with students and guardians and use motivational conversations to support students' development.

Your profile

You are a secure and flexible person who thrives in an operation where conditions may change and sees opportunities in development and change. You have a strong commitment to students who need extra support and motivation to reach their goals, and you meet them with calmness, clarity, and high expectations. Through your ability to create structure, build trusting relationships, and lead young people in their learning, you contribute to students getting the best possible conditions to succeed.

You find it easy to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and see collaboration as a natural part of the work. As a team player, you appreciate sharing experiences, contributing to joint solutions, and developing together with others through collegial and collective learning. You are flexible, unpretentious, and curious, with a desire to continuously develop both your teaching and the operations as a whole. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a certified primary school teacher with eligibility in Natural Sciences subjects for year 9 or a gymnasium teacher within the subject area.

We offer a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement.
