About the Role

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you are responsible for driving and executing complex sourcing initiatives within Epiroc's global organization. You work closely with Category Managers, regional sourcing teams, and business representatives to identify business opportunities, optimize the supplier base, and create long-term value for the business. The role involves leading strategic procurement projects and tenders that span multiple regions and business areas. You work both operationally and strategically to develop procurement processes, conduct negotiations, and ensure successful implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute global RFx processes and tenders
• Drive supplier consolidation and harmonization initiatives between regions and businesses
• Responsible for sourcing activities during organizational changes and acquisitions
• Conduct complex supplier negotiations
• Work with cost analysis and value-creating procurement initiatives
• Establish new categories and develop procurement strategies
• Ensure implementation and structured handover after completed sourcing projects
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on a global level
• Contribute to sustainable and responsible procurement processes
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance models

Who Are You?

You thrive in an international environment with many contact points and have the ability to build trust with both colleagues and suppliers. Furthermore, you are structured, communicative, and accustomed to independently driving projects from start to finish.

• Several years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, or procurement-related project management
• Documented experience in driving complex tenders and RFx processes
• Very strong negotiation skills
• Strong analytical ability and good business acumen
• Experience working in international or matrix-managed organizations
• Academic education in economics, engineering, supply chain, or equivalent experience
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in IT sourcing
• Experience in supplier consolidation and global sourcing initiatives
• Experience in cost modelling, should costing, or e-auctions
