Communicator: Labor Market Knowledge

Imagine stepping into a classroom filled with young people, where your task is to spark their interest and engagement within 60 minutes. You do this using your energy and personality, while simultaneously motivating them to engage with their future through your knowledge of the labor market. Can you see yourself in this role? About the role

Labor Market Knowledge is a valued initiative that HKM has driven for several years. In collaboration with public and private employers in Örebro County, we talk about future jobs in various industries in a unique way to create a more sustainable labor market.

We are now looking for you who want to conduct inspiring lectures on Labor Market Knowledge for students from year 5, as well as middle and upper secondary school students throughout Örebro County. In your role, you will visit schools to meet young people, school staff, and parents, as well as visit employers to listen to what they want to convey to future employees. This means that one day you might give a lecture to thirty 15-year-olds, and the next day discuss the future labor market with a leader at a global company.

You will base your work from our Örebro office, and Örebro County is your primary region, but you may also work in Västerås and Eskilstuna. There may be a few days of evening work per month.

The role may become a temporary position until June 2027, with a possibility of extension.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Conduct inspiring lessons for students at the middle school, upper secondary, and high school levels.
• Lecture on Labor Market Knowledge for parents, adults, and other target groups.
• Collaborate and maintain contact with school leadership, teachers, and study and career counselors.
• Maintain contact with employers and contribute to getting more companies to engage in Labor Market Knowledge.
• Support and contribute to HKM's other activities.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a university/college education in fields such as HR, pedagogy, rhetoric, or media. You have gained some work experience either before or after your studies in a profession where you interact with many people; recruitment, HR, job coaching, service, or communication are some areas we consider relevant for this position. You have good computer skills (MS Office, Teams, and Outlook) and speak and write fluent Swedish. A driver's license and access to a car are required for the position.

We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities in this recruitment. We see that you have the ability to absorb complex information and that you dare to take initiative in different contexts. You have strong social skills and a natural sense for creating engagement and interest in others. You thrive in a role where you speak to an audience and have pedagogical insight that allows you to adapt your message to different target groups.

Planning skills and the ability to organize your work, while being flexible and adaptable to different situations, are important in this role. You have positive energy and stable personal maturity. Your ability to build relationships is central, both when it comes to building long-term collaborations with schools and companies, but also to building trust among students and other target groups.

We are located in newly renovated premises in central Örebro and offer free and flexible work. The tasks are based in Örebro, but they may occur throughout our entire catchment area in Mälardalen.
