Elon's own brands, Elvita and Canvac, have grown significantly over the past few years and have taken an increasingly strong position on the Nordic market. The investment in own brands is an important part of Elon Group's continued development, and we are now looking for you who want to help shape the future assortment.

– This is a role for someone who wants to influence. We are a small team with great responsibility, which means you will be involved in the entire process, from identifying new opportunities to developing and launching products on the market, says Aleksandar Zivkovic, Head of Own Brands.

About the role

As a Strategic Buyer, you will have overall responsibility for selected categories within our own brands. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in purchasing, sales, marketing, and aftermarket, as well as with our retailers across the Nordic region.

You will also work closely with international suppliers and purchasing offices in China to ensure the right products, the right quality, and the right business.

In the role, you will among other things:

• be responsible for and develop selected product categories
• identify new business opportunities and develop the assortment
• evaluate and optimize suppliers and products
• drive negotiations regarding contracts and prices
• collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality and profitability
• follow market trends and translate insights into business opportunities
• contribute product knowledge during training, trade fairs, and towards our stores

An important part of the job also involves product development and quality assurance. In the team, products are tested and evaluated continuously before they reach the market.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience in strategic purchasing and international business, preferably within retail. If you have worked in the own brands segment or consumer products, it is an advantage.

You have a good understanding of international business and feel comfortable in dialogue with suppliers around the world. You are used to driving many parallel projects, and since the role involves many contact points, you also need to enjoy collaborating and creating engagement in others.

Other

The position is located at our headquarters in Örebro, and you will primarily work from the office. The role involves international contacts and therefore requires good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
