We are looking for a driven and engaged Project Manager within Logistics Development to join Dollarstore's central warehouse in Örebro.

The role involves leading and contributing to development within logistics and supply chain, covering both warehouse operations and the broader supply chain. You will also be partially responsible for the logistics' various IT systems in the warehouse to ensure stable and optimal usage in operations. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, and you must have the ability to build a strong network and collaborative climate. It is crucial that you have the ability to drive initiatives forward, both theoretically and practically.

In this role, you will lead and participate in development projects within the Logistics and Supply Chain functions. This includes profitability assessments, ROI calculations, as well as the presentation, refinement, and implementation of new ideas.

The position may involve personnel responsibility.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Project management of various projects within Logistics and Supply Chain for Dollarstore and Tokmanni Group.
  • From a strategic perspective, identify and evaluate long-term development opportunities for logistics.
  • Through trend analysis and a knowledge base of tools and methods, internally spread "best practices" and news within the logistics field.
  • Contribute to the development of working methods and routines.
  • Develop logistics and transport processes and implement them in operations.
  • In collaboration with operational system developers, create, optimize, and maintain the best possible WMS (Warehouse Management System) with associated subsystems for the business's needs. This includes:
    • Ensuring functionality and usability of warehouse systems.
    • Testing and developing systems, including implementation and validation of version updates.
    • Preparing system-related instructions, providing support and training, and creating process descriptions.
    • Ensuring system stability and resolving system-related issues.
  • Warehouse systems used: IMI, Apex, TimeGrip, Opter, IFS.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in system and logistics development. Furthermore, you should have at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager and Logistics Developer, involving leading, developing, and driving projects.

As a Project Manager and Logistics Developer, you are self-reliant and experienced in working both independently and collaborating with various stakeholders to enable success for other departments. We see that you are flexible in your approach and adapt easily to rapidly changing circumstances.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills. To succeed in this role, you must be structured and work efficiently. You have a trustworthy personality and can build strong relationships both internally and externally, where your ability to create trust and security is key to success.

You command English fluently, both in speech and writing, which is crucial for the role. The position involves continuous collaboration with both internal and external partners, as well as project and development collaboration at the group level (Tokmanni in Finland).

Employment Terms

The employment is a permanent position with an initial probationary period. You will be employed as a civil servant (tjänsteman).
