The Unit's Mission

The staff for the Coordinated Support business area supports the business area manager, management, and operations in matters concerning planning, control, follow-up, analysis, investigation, and coordination. We work across operations to create structure, coordination, and momentum in matters that are important for the business area's results and long-term development. The staff currently consists of a division manager and ten employees. With us, you will work close to decision-making processes and contribute to ensuring the operations have the right conditions to achieve their goals.

Job Description

As an Operations Coordinator, you have a central role in coordinating and following up on operations. You work closely with the manager and management. The role suits you if you have the ability to create structure in complex contexts, can translate extensive information into clear support materials, and thrive on supporting management and operations in matters requiring analysis, precision, and a good overview.

As an employee in the staff, you are also expected to contribute to the staff's collective mission and be able to switch between different tasks based on operational needs.

The role includes, among other things:

  • Preparing cases and producing decision support for management and control
  • Coordinating, driving, and following up on cross-operational assignments
  • Conducting analyses and compiling reports, support materials, and presentations
  • Contributing to internal control, risk management, and continuity planning
  • Coordinating consultations, statements, and other cross-operational assignments
  • Supporting work with operational planning and operational follow-up
  • Ensuring structure, quality, and compliance in materials, processes, and working methods
  • Serving as a qualified support to management in planning, development, and follow-up matters

The role involves many contact points and requires you to switch between strategic perspectives and operational execution. You work independently while collaborating with colleagues, managers, specialists, and other business areas.

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may start with a six-month probationary period. The workplace is at one of the Swedish Public Employment Service's offices somewhere in the country.

Basic Requirements for the Position

  • An academic degree of at least 180 higher education credits or other education/experience that the employer considers equivalent
  • At least three years of experience in qualified coordination, development, or investigative work
  • Experience in internal control, risk management, or continuity work
  • Experience in independently producing analyses, reports, and decision support
  • Good ability to handle, analyze, and structure extensive written information, as well as to interpret and formulate support materials
  • Experience working in digital operational or case management systems
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish

Other Merits for the Position

  • Work experience in operational planning and operational follow-up
  • Work experience working closely with a manager or management group
  • Experience working with labor market issues
  • Work experience from the public sector or another politically governed organization
