Your responsibilities

As a Commissioning Engineer at Siemens Energy's test laboratory, you will become an important part of the team responsible for testing and commissioning gas turbines and ancillary equipment prior to delivery to the customer.

You work with factory acceptance tests, string tests, and test runs of gas turbines in close collaboration with colleagues in testing and test rigs. The role involves varied work where you contribute to ensuring quality, functionality, and delivery security. If needed, there is also an opportunity to participate in commissioning assignments for customers around the world.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate commissioning work.
• Ensure that the project schedule is followed.
• Drive and coordinate the testing group.
• Educate and support employees in their daily work.
• Document completed tests and commissioning activities through checklists and reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues in testing, testing, and commissioning to ensure high quality and efficient deliveries.

Your profile

• Engineer educated in operations, energy, power systems, mechanical engineering, or control and instrumentation engineering.
• Has a few years of experience in team leadership.
• Has practical experience in commissioning or maintenance of large machinery, preferably gas turbines or similar plants.
• Communicates fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Has good computer skills and experience with administrative documentation.

It is an advantage if you have experience in control and instrumentation engineering, for example Siemens Simatic.
