Do you have experience working in a broad administrative and service-oriented role as an investigator? Are you structured, meticulous, and possess high integrity? We are now looking for two investigators for the Unit for Agency Law 1. You will work with interesting and exciting tasks that are important for society.

About the position

In the role of investigator with us, you will support the Social Services Agency's council for certain legal, social, and medical issues, the Legal Council, with various administrative tasks. The duties include, among other things, case registration, case management, and archiving of cases, as well as meeting coordination for meetings.

The position also involves handling cases according to the Act (2024:238) on the determination of gender in certain cases. The role means that you will be a case handler and presenter in some cases and a decision-maker in others. You will be part of a group that performs similar tasks.

Contact with other authorities is common, as is telephone advice to individuals and the release of public documents, including simpler secrecy assessments.

About 15 people work at the unit, and we share responsibility for our work.

About you

To do a good job and thrive with us at the Social Services Agency, it is important that you have a very good ability to collaborate with others. You have a systematic, meticulous, and problem-solving approach to work. You can write and communicate clearly, distinctly, and structured. The role involves that you can work independently, take initiative, drive your cases forward, and take responsibility for high-quality results. As a person, you are empathetic while having strong integrity and the ability to maintain distance in cases that require it. The tasks require good judgment and a high service level. We would like you to have an interest in operational development and enjoy identifying and driving improvements in methods and processes.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

We are looking for you who have

  • academic education in a field that the authority finds relevant, for example, political science
  • current experience working with the handling of cases initiated by private parties (exercise of authority)
  • good knowledge of administrative law and experience working with administrative legal issues
  • good knowledge of the regulations regarding public documents, transparency, and secrecy
  • very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

 

It is meritorious if you have experience with

  • working in an advisory role
  • working with operational development
  • case registration and case management in case management systems (e.g., DHS, Public 360, or equivalent).

 

Good to know

The positions are permanent full-time positions starting with a six-month probationary period and a fixed-term employment for approximately one year, both starting as soon as possible. You will be based at the office at Västerbroplan in Stockholm. In the spring of 2027, we will move to Solna Strand. Your job title will be Investigator, and your placement is on the Legal Department and the Unit for Agency Law 1.
